Tenting in Winter

Hey Hey

It's winter and Charly really wanted to sleep the night in the tent. So ... we pitched it in the lounge ...



As you can see she loved it and spent two nights in there. Slept like a log which was good but it meant no TV or anything for us so we all went to bed at 8.00pm - yahoo !! It was like sleeping in till midday for us so we were all very relaxed and well after the two nights.

Easter Skiing

Hey People

Had a great day's skiing yesterday with us 3 and Tobias. This is the son of my girlfriend and Charly and him get on really well. He is a really good little skiier and I was able to ski normally as Charly wanted to go with Papa and so Tobias and I were together.

ANZAC Bikkies

Charly and I made ANZAC bikkies the other day - first time ever. They were a bit too crunchy but good - man there is a lot of sugar in those babes !

Easter Eggs

Hello All

Elisa came round the other day and we dyed some easter eggs - here are the results. Lots of fun and dye coloured hands !


Also a belated pikkie of the painting Charly did for her bathroom - she wanted something else pink in there on the walls !


We are having lots of rain at the moment - Storm "Lara" has come through - not kidding, it really is called "Lara" and it has brought rain and a bit of snow to the tops of the mountains. Yesterday however was beautiful and we spent the afternoon mucking around the pond. We got all the dead fish out - yes none survived the winter as there were too many in there ! Anyway we pumped all the water out and have decided to change it a bit. No more plants around the outside and just a few water lillies in the middle and of course we have to buy some more goldfish but this time just 7 or 8. We are not going to let anyone put "a few" fish in there again. They dumped 60 of the little things in and there was not enough O2 when it freezed over winter. Poor things !

I will post some pikkies as we go. Total renovations all over the place at the moment !

The Party - 1.3.08

Well ..

Charly's party finally took place on the 1st of March 2008. 11 kids came and 8 had to cancel due to various reasons - was kinda ok about this as 11 was actually enough ...

We had a storm called "Emma" on the same day which caused havoc around areas of Austria and I think it hit our lounge and kitchen as well, or was it the 11 kids ?

Charly and I baked some muffins the day before. She mixed everything up and then decorated them as well which was a lot of fun.



Charly's cake was just how she ordered it and the clown (Colin) was a laugh with his songs and balloons. We played "Pin the Tail on the Donkey" and I did face painting.








The weather was crap but I don't think the kids gave a toss basically what was happening outside.
