Xmas Fun

Hello All

Just a few photos from the last couple of days ! Charly and I have been busy making a Gingerbread "Shack" - I say shack cause it's not quite the perfect little house but hey ! We had a great laugh trying to stick it together with the chocolate and decorating it with the icing ! It kept falling apart but we got there in the end ! Charly enjoyed licking all the spoons of course.

Also some shots of Charly and Felix-Laurin playing outside on the frozen pond - it was minus 12 and we were out there for about an hour and a half - I was freezing but those two were fine !

Decorating the tree was done to lots of serious Xmas music - Santa Baby by Eartha Kitt and It's beginning to look like Xmas by Bing Crosby - and of course Jim Reeves ! Charly loves it and dances around while picking out the things she wants to hang on the tree ! Great laughs ... ooh not to mention the obligatory Wham - Last Xmas.

Xmas Gymnastics Show

Hello All

Today we had the end of year Xmas Gym show at the big sportpark. Charly was involved in the main warm-up section and then a chair dance with her group. She had a ball and we were really proud of her as usual. She has her new club leotard on which she is especially proud of !

Innsbruck Theatre Trip

Hey People

On Friday myself and 3 girlfriends took our kids (7 of them) to Innsbruck on the train to see Max and Moritz. This was a musical and they all had a fantastic time. We even managed to stop in at 3 Christkind Markets in the Innsbruck town centre to make the Mum's day a little bit more interesting !

We picked the kids up straight from Kindergarten and had a picnic lunch on the train with a heaps of goodies brought by the Mum's.

The train was full except for First Class and so Ulli managed to sweet talk the conductor into letting us stay there as long as we kept it as clean as possible. Child labour !



Bus trip to the theatre - we missed the stop due to chatting and kids singing so had to walk a bit but it didn't matter.

We spotted this sign - which means quiet zone - after we had left the train compartment - 4 girlfriends and 7 kids - I think we killed the quiet zone ! Oops !!!

100 Year Marienheim Kindergarten Celebrations

Hello All

Today we had the 100 year Marienheim Kindergarten celebrations. It was a really good show with Charly taking part in lots of it. She did really well and is not shy at all (no kidding - you don't say) about getting up on the stage in front of a whole pile of people !

She was involved in the cooking dance - as Marienheim used to have a cooking school in it. Also the rap dance and the farewell song. Well done huh !
