Bozen Triathlon 2012

Hey People

Just some photos and news from the Triathlon at the weekend.

We drove down on the Friday night and made a nice weekend of it.  Checked out Bozen which is really nice and generally had a great time with the club and all the kids.

Charly did really well considering she has moved to another group which is much harder.   She now has to swim 50m, bike 1km and run 500m which is a lot really.

She wasn't so aggressive in her swim part and actually swam a bit too wide which added to her distance but that didn't matter.  She came out of the water in 20th place out of 21 girls.  Next was the bike session where she came back in 14th place - overtook a few which was fantastic.  The run was next and she finished in 12th place so another couple overtaken.  Well done girl !!!

Triathlon Camp, Kitzbühel

Hello again,

Just a few photos of the Triathlon Camp that Charly took part in last weekend.  She had a great time.  They had a big schedule with lots to do which went like this:

Friday

Football and fun games
Lunch at the athletics circuit cooked by trainers
Bike and Run Training

A big weekend to say the least and getting ready for the first Triathlon which is in Bozen, Italy on the 6th of May.

Flower Boxes

Dear People,

Charly decided she needed flower boxes for her tree house - so as usual Opa was roped into building them for her. She helped a lot and had great fun doing it. Now we just have to wait for the weather to settle down a bit so we can plant the flowers.

King of the Horn Ski Race

Hey People

Charly competed in the King of the Horn race on Saturday - 24 March. She loved it and managed to get 3rd !!! Another trophy for the collection. Trophy photo to come.
