Aquathlon, Innsbruck 2011

Woohoo !!!

Charly got 2nd in Innsbruck yesterday !!! She also placed 2nd in the Tirolean Championships (Tiroler Vizemeisterin).

She did really well and was first out of the water again and just got beaten in the running phase. The Aquathlon is a 30m swim and a 250m run - she did well huh !

Claudia won her race and was crowned Tirolean Champion too !

Triathlon 2011

Woohoo people !!

She is the champion !!!!! Charly won her age group in the Kitzbühel Triathlon today !!! She was first in the swim, first in the bike and just got ahead of the competition to get the win !! There were 7 girls in her group. The comentator was from the Kitzbühel Triathlon Club and she mentioned that Charly was a "fantastic mix of Austria and NZ and a real bundle of energy" !


Charly's new bike - also thanks to Heidi and Eddie for the birthday money which was able to get her this great suit !

Route check at 7.30am this morning. Race started at 9.00am !


Setting up her bike, helmet, shoes and towel - she has to do this all alone and the trainers check it for them.


Talcum powder in the shoes to help her slip in easier with wet feet.

Triathlon Girl

Hey People

Here she is ! Ready to go. We had to get a new bike as the other one was too small ! Thanks Heidi and Eddie for the birthday money for Charly - it was able to help with both new goodies - suit and bike !

Saturday is the day - her race starts at 9.00am and she is also a flag bearer for one of the professional men at 14.30 (Sat) so check her out on the TV. Yesterday they had a training session with last years winners which was also filmed. This may be shown too !

Charly's 7th Birthday

Hey People

Just a few photos that a girlfriend of mine took of Charly. They are fab !

It was her friend Jessica's 7th birthday and they went to a castle near us for a dress-up princess/knight party - had a great time. Although Pia and Charly did not like the dresses so they DID NOT dress up !

Karl & Erin's Wedding

Hey People

Just so you can have a sneak preview of the photos from the photographer and the snaps I took. Karl does not want them on Facebook and so I am allowed to put some here OK.

The wedding was fantastic and Erin is a great person. Very bubbly and outgoing and friendly. We (Mum, Maxine and I) all had a fantastic time and it was great to have been able to be a part of it all. It must have been like having 3 dwarfs running around their house as Erin is almost as tall as Karl.
