Saxophone

Hey People

Charly is playing Saxophone now and is loving it.  Seriously loud when she practices but she is getting so good.  We are not sure if it will carry on when she goes to Gymnasium but we will wait and see.  We have rented the sax and it is just a beautiful thing !

Yoga Retreat in Kals - Gradonna Mountain Resort

Hello People

We had a fantastic weekend 4-6 April at the Gradonna Mountain Hotel in Kals near the Grossglockner mountain.  The rooms were amazing, food fantastic, company great and some slushy but good spring skiing.  The great thing was that it was only 1 hour's drive from Kitzbühel and poor Charly got sick on Sunday and had a fever of 39,9 degrees so we were happy we didn't have to drive a long way home.

Charly's bed was in a window alcove which was really cool of course !

The hotel and Chalet complex was settled into the mountainside and was a mix of great architecture and fantastic scenery - would love to go back there again !

Skiing was pretty spring stuff with lots of green at the bottom but up top at 2600m it was good.

Mike took a wrong turn and had to do some cross country skiing ... ha ha !

Tirolean Indoor Tennis Champs & KTC Club Champs 2014

Hey People

Here are just a few photos of the Tirolern Indoor Tennis Champs.  Charly played really well but had the number one player as her first match - she did well though and made 3rd place in the B Round.

We also had the local Club Champs and Charly was the only girl in the big kids group.  She didn't get a placing but played excellently.

Winter Photos

Hey People

I know way too long but we have been busy, busy, busy ... here are a couple of lovely winter shots I took including some at an avalanche seminar.  I was asked to do some photography work for the website and they came out quite cool really ...

Our Christmas tree this year ..

My first attempt at taking some fireworks shots !  Kitzbühel New Year's Day fireworks - great as usual !

Charly's school ski race - she managed to get 3rd this year.  She was 2nd every other year but this year there was a surprise winner and so the two girls that always got 1st and 2nd were bumped down a bit.  She was still really happy though to have been on the winners podest for all 4 years of Primary School !

Charly's class also won €100 !!
