NZ Holiday

Hey People

We are both having a great time in NZ and thoroughly enjoyed seeing Karl in Australia on the way. The weather in Australia was hot as to be expected and this was a big change - minus 10 to 38 plus !!!

We did lots with Karl and loved being shown around Perth and where he lives. Rottnest Island was also great until the jellyfish attacked Charly. A bit of vinegar, ice pack, warm shower and soothing cream did the trick and we were off again !

The weather in Dunedin was crap at the beginning but now it has made an about turn and is pretty good with 32 degrees yesterday !! We even spent the last 2 days at the beach.

Had a fantastic time in Wanaka for 4 days with Keri, Dave, Jack, Josh and Henri. Also managed to catch up on Jan, Clare and Aunty Nan in Clyde on the way back.

Maybe on the next trip we will just meet Mum and Dad in Wanaka and have our holiday in Central Otago !!

Boxing Day Ski Day

Hello All

Had a fantastic ski day today. Blue sky and sunshine even though it was minus 10 degrees celcius ! Charly was a bit of a ratty thing but we just ignored her. We had a great lunch and enjoyed the weather.

Madam is getting the hang of carving which makes a bit of difference but "Mama & Papa are not a much fun as the Ski Teacher Florian" - oh well .....

Xmas Photos

OK Everyone !!

The Christ Kind came ... in the form of me catching a ride with Sasha back to the house and running around like an idiot getting everything ready before the two Eggers turned up ... Charly had a ball. The bloody candles wouldn't light properly and so it was a close call with me making an excuse of "I thought I heard the Christ Kind and went looking, that's why I am upstairs alredy".

Here are some pikkies. The silver blur in one of the photos is Charly. I didn't want to use the blinding flash and so a few are blurry because she was all over the place !

Silver Medal & Trophy

Hey People

Our little skiing wonder had a great time at the Ski School last week. In her race she came 2nd and got a silver medal and then she was the 2nd fastest girl on the whole face day and won a trophy !!! Yahoo !!!





They played "We are the Champions" from Queen - he he !! Here she is with her friend Marie from Kindergarten who was 3rd fastest on the day.



We had a nice dumping of snow on Saturday - 40cm or so - then it started to rain and hasn't stopped. Frosty the snowman has since died a horrible death, bue here he is in his hey-day !!!

Some little friends from America which have a sensor and when anyone or anything goes past they start to sing - hilarious !!
