Here are a few photos of Mum & Maxine's visit to Kitzbühel. They stayed for 3 weeks and we all had a fantastic time. I think we did everything we could possibly do in that time including a few lazy days ! The weather was not that great but every now and then we had a perfect day which we really made the most of. We dragged them up a few mountains and to a few nice cities and villages. Also a mystery tour to Venice which they loved and we did too ! Venice photos will be coming too OK.
Charly was thrilled to have Oma and "Maxini" here for the time and her English came on in leaps and bounds which was fantastic of course ! Mum loved her cute little accent !
It was also really special having Mum here for Charly's first day at school. She was able to come to the mass at the big church in town to celebrate the start of school (all very catholic here), as well as seeing her classroom, schoolmates and teacher !
I think they tried every traditional dish there was !
I have to say a big thanks to Dad and Uncle Henare for letting their girls travel so far away to visit us and also a huge thanks to Aunty Maxine for accompanying Mum on her trip to us. She couldn't have had a more perfect travelling partner.
