Lillifee Movie Premier in Munich

Hey People

Been a while I know but here are some photos from the weekend. We went to Munich on Saturday morning and stayed until Sunday afternoon. The main highlight was the Lillifee Movie Premier which Charly was invited to attend by her cousin Amelie ! They loved it !!

All the children were presented with Lillifee popcorn and a drink for the movie. Afterwards they had their own "Premier Buffet" with all sorts of goodies and a poster and a crown to take home. There were 7 kids in total and all the girls were in their best dressess or princess outfits. Tini and Eric went to the movie with the girls and Mike and I were able to wander around Munich and enjoy a glass of wine. We went to a great fruit & veg market and also to the new Apple store to get some goodies.

We stayed in Munich for the night at the Welbers' house and the girls tried sleeping together although as predicted our Madam took ages to fall asleep and was lovely and cranky the next day as a result. Oh well, they tried. We (the adults) had a great evening with dinner and then we crashed on the couch to take the piss out of the latest singing talent show.

On Sunday we went to the Wild Park just outside of Munich and it was really cool. Massive place with great areas for the animals. Deer roaming free which the kids could feed and lots of other animals such as wolves (enclosed area of course), bears, goats, etc.







There was this awesome slide which the girls loved too ! It was really windy and cold but a good day. Charly fell asleep in the car (despite DVD player) on the way back due to the late night and was wide awake for ages afterwards.

Sorry for not writing sooner but been a bit busy with a few good ides but more about that later !

More Snow !!!

Hey People

OK the snow is higher than the garden fence now so thats 1.20m of snow !! You can see how high the snow is from the swing posts ...


The view from the lounge window upstairs is now blocked by snow.


The Chamios in the garden is also buried and he is life size !


Peter on the curling lane - we have'nt had this much snow here before !



Great huh ! Thank goodness for snow machines to clear the stuff and lovely big spades ! My poor arms !!

Charly's 5th Birthday

Hello All

Well Saturday was the big party day. We always have Charly's birthday in the morning as she just goes 100% all out and is so knackered after it that she needs a few hours on the couch to come down. Anyway, there were 17 kids and it was a ball. The magician got stuck in the snow traffic jam and got there a bit late but he was fantastic. Even made a table float up in the air. The kids were screaming out and really getting into it all.

A big thanks to all of you who sent Birthday cards and presents for Charly. She loved them all. Things in the post are sooooo exciting. Charly got a scooter from us and a heap of little goodies from her friends. We have a rule of just something very little which the guests all stuck to really well.

She had a carnival theme for her party as it's carnival time in Europe. Some great little outfits. The best would have to be Jonas and his Dracula outfit complete with blood on his chin and shirt - fantastic !

The cake was made exactly to Charly's wishes - we were in the shop and she was telling Andreas what she wanted on there and he did it all !!! Amazing job !

Snow Snow Snow

Hey People

Sorry about not writing earlier but so much has been happening - snow wise and house wise. After getting back from NZ I have had a bit to catch up on in the office and the house and also getting Charly's birthday organised.

First of all - a few photos of the fantastic snow we have ! The balcony had over 1m of snow on it which we spent Sunday shoveling out like maniacs. They have predicted warmer weather which means wetter snow and much heavier so we had to get rid of the last lot or it would have been too much weight on the terrace and the roof of the office.
