Yet another Triathlon weekend and this time all our kids were really nervous. Probably with it being a home race and who knows.
Charly decided to start in the middle of the pack with the swim which proved to be a bad idea. She got a few feet in the face and generally had a bad swim. She was 14th out of 24 out of the water, 10th after the bike and then placed 11th at the end after the run. She wasn't really that happy with her result which is good in a way as it means she is not just mucking around and wants to be seriously sporty.
We all had a great day and loved chatting to the NZ athletes. Got a great photo of Bryce Leigh and us.

Great photos - the big triathlon weekend in Kitz - saw a smidgeon on our tv news - super to see no 84 in action and love the one with the kiwi athlete - the young ones will be looking to follow in their footsteps.
