On Sunday night we had a serious hailstorm. Check this out. They were 4,5 cms in diameter and came down big time. The see rose leaves in the pond were smashed, the lupins all ruined but they had finished flowering anyway, and the climbing roses all lost their flowers. Looking very bland in the garden at the moment. My zucchinis also got a smashing so wait and see if they come back.
We have been having lots of thunderstorms at the moment. Normally I don't mind as they are at night and then I don't have to water the garden but not when there are hailstones. I managed to park the car under the big storage hall so it didn't get damaged. Other cars were ruined. In Kirchberg the hailstones were the size of tennis balls - not kidding, I have seen photos. Smashed windscreens and skylight windows - the works so we actually got off lighter than they did !

wow we have had some thunder and big flash of lightning but thankgoodness nothing like that.We have had not much of a summer this year lots of showers lots of love ria en frits
